Meatshare vendor/ farmer agreement

1. Purpose

This Agreement governs participation by farmers and vendors listing livestock on MeatShare.

2. Vendor Eligibility

Vendors must:

• Own or legally control listed livestock
• Comply with all applicable laws
• Hold required registrations and permits
• Provide accurate livestock information

3. Livestock Listings

Vendors must provide:

• Livestock type
• Breed (where known)
• Approximate live weight
• Location
• Photos
• Relevant production information

Information must be accurate and not misleading.

4. Animal Welfare

Vendors must comply with:

• Animal welfare legislation
• Transport requirements
• Biosecurity requirements

5. Pricing

Vendors determine livestock pricing subject to MeatShare marketplace requirements.

6. MeatShare Commission

MeatShare charges a platform commission on completed livestock sales.
Current commission rates will be communicated separately.
MeatShare may change commission rates with notice.

7. Payment to Vendors

Payments will be released after:

• Customer payment received
• Livestock processed
• Any applicable disputes resolved

Payment schedules may vary.

8. Processing Coordination

MeatShare may coordinate:

• Abattoirs
• Butchers
• Delivery providers

Vendors agree to cooperate with processing arrangements.

9. Livestock Availability

Once livestock is committed to a MeatShare order, vendors must not sell the same livestock elsewhere.

10. Cancellations

Vendors must notify MeatShare immediately if livestock becomes unavailable.
Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension.

11. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors remain responsible for:

• Accuracy of listings
• Livestock ownership
• Animal welfare
• Legal compliance

12. Suspension

MeatShare may suspend or remove vendor accounts where:

• Information is misleading
• Animal welfare concerns arise
• Repeated order failures occur
• Terms are breached

13. Limitation of Liability

MeatShare is not responsible for losses arising from market fluctuations, livestock performance or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

14. Termination

Either party may terminate participation at any time, subject to completion of outstanding orders.
